Civil 3D Previous Experience Bundle

The Civil 3D Previous Experience Bundle is designed for students with prior AutoCAD experience, enabling you to build on your existing skills and master intermediate Civil 3D techniques. This bundle will teach you how to manage data, design complex projects, and create construction documents using Civil 3D.

Surveying and Mapping Skills in Civil 3D: Learn to work with survey and COGO points, modify point groups, and perform surface analysis. You’ll also gain proficiency in creating parcels, managing site data, and labeling surfaces for precise, real-world applications.
Design Transportation Projects and Roadways: Master the creation of alignments, surface profiles, and corridors for transportation projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience with roadway design, including intersections, cul-de-sacs, and 3D visualization for effective project planning and implementation.
Develop Advanced Land Development Projects: Learn how to build drawing template files, utilize data shortcuts, and create grading groups for land development. You’ll also work with pipe and pressure networks, creating custom designs and annotations to streamline project execution.
Work with Intermediate Civil 3D Tools: Dive into the advanced capabilities of Civil 3D to create custom object and label styles, manage data shortcuts, and apply your knowledge to real-world land development projects. By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to produce high-quality, professional construction documents.

Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.
